I opted for Classic Pod which has the following facilities TV with TATA Sky set top box, Headphones for TV, Wifi, 1 Plug point, 1 USB port, Mini Locker and a Small Fire extinguisher.

(Pic no. 12 & 13)There are common washrooms, showers and wash area. All of them are spic and span and maintained very nicely throughout.

The entire Urban Pod is fully carpeted.

(Pic no. 16 & 19) There is also a common area with sofa, bean bags, tables and chairs.

(Pic no. 17 & 18) Before entering one must remove their footwear and keep it in the locker provided.
Eating is not allowed in Urban Pod.

The entire Urban Pod is clean and excellently maintained with state of the art infrastructure. A highly recommended place for accommodation. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

For staying at Mumbai Central, you can book Urban Pod at 1st floor of Mumbai Central station. The booking process is same as that of retiring room on irctc tourism site. Can be booked offline too (if available).

thing is check out time is 12/24 hrs. You can check in at any time and book for 12/24 hrs slot (not fixed like RR whose check in is at 8 am & 8 pm).

Costing:
Private pod - 1300 appx (12 hrs), 1900 appx (24 hrs)
Classic pod - 800 appx (12 hrs) 1200 appx (24 hrs)
(including taxes)

Difference is in pvt pod you get own room whereas in case of classic pods, its like a dormitory but privacy is there too. You can close your pod door. In pvt pod l, you can keep your luggage in your room, but in classic pod there is no such place & you'll have to keep it in lockers present outside the pod. (check out youtube videos for same)

The washrooms are common, unisex, but in abundant nos. and very clean. Cleaned at regular intervals too.

NO FOOD is allowed inside. Water you can take in your bottle or buy from the reception. For fooding, there is Comesum on the ground floor or some hotels/eateries are present on Belassis Road outside the station.

Shoes have to be kept in lockers provided near reception.
Inside pod, adequate lighting, AC, air outlets, TV, headphones, charging points (usb and 3 pin plugs) are present.
Overall a very good place to stay.

The IRCTC Jan Aahar opens at 7AM. The early morning breakfast is superb offering variety of breakfast such as

The best thing about this is that if you go straight at 7AM you will get delicious hot breakfast. Food served at this time is hot and freshly prepared and this is the best part of it.
If your train arrives early and you want to have delicious breakfast and if you have a wait till its opening at 7AM then your wait is worth it.
Taste of the food items served in breakfast here is better than the food in terms of taste and quantity than that served in Shatabdi.
If this shop is open a bit early in the morning then I would prefer to take a parcel from here and have it in Shatabdi.

Quality is So so . Not upto to the mark ., As the price is very low .
