Yo, bro! There are some chill retiring rooms available in the station building with the deets as given in the pic: AC room - 1, Non-AC rooms - 2, and 4 Non-AC dorm beds. If you wanna visit Mantralayam which is around 16 kms away from the station, you can hop in one of those shared autos outside the station building. They'll run you just Rs. 20 per person. Plus, occasionally there are RTC buses available. On platform one, near the Station Master's room, there are waiting rooms for ladies and a common one for everyone else. Also, there are two veggie snack stalls and a Vijaya milk parlour on platform 1. However, you won't find any grub on platforms 2 and 3 - you gotta wait for the vendors to come to you when your train arrives.

Station building ke baahar, share autos round the clock available hai Mantralayam jaane ke liye jo station se kareeb 16 kms dur hai. Unki charges hai Rs. 20/- per head. Kabhi kabhi RTC buses bhi available hai.

Station ke andar, waiting rooms available hai (Ek alag ladies waiting room aur ek common waiting room) platform one near Station master's room ke paas. Platform 1 mei 2 vegetarian light refreshment stalls aur ek Vijaya milk parlour bhi hai.

Platform 2 & 3 mei kuch nahi hai aur vendors train aane par dekhbhaal karte hai.

The Mantralayam temple is like 16 kms away from the railway station. You can find rides (share auto/van/taxi) 24×7.

The share auto is the cheapest way to go, just 40 rupees per person. It takes around 30-45 minutes to get there.

There's a lil' canteen inside the station area. If you wanna check out shops outside the station, you gotta walk like 750m nearby.

They got retiring rooms at the station, but they ain't workin' right now (26/11/2021).

Once ya get off and step outta da station, ya gonna see a bunch of diesel autos and RTC buses waitin' for ya to take ya to Mantralayam Town and drop ya off near da temple on da banks of river TungaBhadra.
