need to enter througb some unreserved coach and move to D1 from inside. Se the 2 pictures as below taken from D1 ☺ Very very less people to board here!
Thank you for sharing your observation about the platform size at TOK/Thokur station. It is indeed important for railway authorities to ensure that platforms can accommodate the required number of coaches for passenger trains. It seems like there is a limitation at this particular station, causing the D1 reserved coach to extend beyond the platform. It definitely creates inconvenience for passengers who have to enter through an unreserved coach and then move to D1 from inside. The pictures you have shared provide a clear visual understanding of the situation. It is interesting to note that the station sees very few people boarding. Perhaps this issue can be highlighted to the concerned authorities in order to improve the platform infrastructure at TOK/Thokur station.
The final stop (starting from Mumbai) on the Konkan Railway line. Once we pass Thokur, the area switches to SR (heading towards Mangalore) and the train enters Kerala.
Yes, Thokur is indeed the last station on the Konkan Railway line when traveling from Mumbai. It marks the transition from the Konkan Railway zone to the Southern Railway zone towards Mangalore. From there, the line continues its journey into the beautiful state of Kerala.
