mathematically the train moves in circular motion going nowhere ...
I watched one train Somnath Jabalpur exp. It takes 180 degree turn ... and goes uphill for some time... I do not remember the station name...

360 se kam hoga shayad.....360 degree huya toh lucknow se aane waali train varanasi ke jagah vapas lko ki aur chali jayegi :P
360 degree curve mein train Sultanpur se chalegi curve legi or phir se Sultanpur me aa ke ruk jayegi :P

SLN se jo BSB ka track jata hai LKO bhi udhar he padta hai but tracks ka structure he is tarah hai ki aage se ek sharp curve banaya gaya hai jo ki train ko wapas usi direction me ghuma deta hai jidhar se wo aayi hai curve lene ke thodi der bad NH 56 and LKO jane ka track bagal bagal aa jata hai and that place is bandhua kalan :)

bhai ab hum log compas protactor le ke and duniya bhar ka formula laga ke 360 degree prove nhi kr skte but 360 ke aas paas toh hoga he itna sure hai qki direction same he hai

its not perfectly 360 but its nearby and even rajdhani use to crawl at 15 KMPH
so LKO jane wali train ko itna curve lena he padta hai ki isi road ke parallel LKO jaye

360 might be objectionable, put 270 degrees instead, to express the depth of the curve.... 360 degrees is too much of an exaggeration since 360 degree curve will not have an entry & exit point to it.
For that matter, even a 180 degree curve make the train run in an opposite geographical direction.
