This station is top-notch, so there are a lot of cool things available: 1. The escalator is almost done being built at Platform 1 (New Delhi End) near the entrance of the Ticket Counters building. It should be finished soon. 2. They're also working on building some lifts at Platforms 1, 2, and 3. These lifts will connect to the Foot Over Bridge (Lucknow End) near the Waiting Room. It might take about 6-7 months to finish building the lifts, but the groundwork has started. 3. You can find Water ATVMs at Platform 1 and Platforms 2-3. 4. If you need a wheelchair, just talk to the Station Master. 5. Wi-Fi is available on all the platforms from PF 1 to 4. For information about food and lodging, check out the separate post.

Yo, if you gotta get your ass to NDLS from SPN or BE or LKO real quick, take this train... Here are some tips for y'all LKO and SPN folks: For LKO: 1. If PQWL is less than 50, just go for it, it'll definitely get confirmed. 2. You can book from DDU and choose LKO as your boarding station, up to 150 WL can easily get confirmed when they make the final passenger list. 3. Only for AC passengers: check for available seats after they finalize the passenger list. Most of the time, you can find seats in 2A and 3A. For SPN: 1. If PQWL is less than 70, go ahead and book it, it'll surely get confirmed. 2. You can book from DDU and choose SPN as your boarding station, up to 180 WL can easily get confirmed at the final passenger list. 3. Only for AC passengers: check for open seats after they finalize the passenger list. You'll usually find seats available in 2A and 3A. For BE: 1. If PQWL is less than 90, go for it without hesitation, it'll definitely get confirmed. 2. You can book from DDU and choose BE as your boarding station, up to 200 WL can easily get confirmed at the final passenger list. 3. Check for seats after they finalize the passenger list. In most cases, you can even find seats in 2A, 3A, and even in SL.
