Nice Tip but you skip the Monkeys of station ha ha ha their are lot of monkeys at this station so have to be careful about our food items. Once i saw from train that child was eating Biscuit kept in hand and child just turn to his father within that time monkey took biscuit from child hand ha ha. Evn they take fruits from basket of vendors from top hanging to PF Shelters supports..

Well, I did not see any monkeys, so did not include. Maybe because it was late night.
Okay during day time you can see the entertainment of monkeys.
Saw monkeys at Badami Caves though. One of them snatched a Fanta from one of my classmates and sat atop a large stone and consumed the liquid right in front of us, very rude of the monkey. Was fed up of the contaminated tap water of ASI I think.
#Off Topic this place Badami is famous for tourism purpose being Chalukya dynasty capital but also popular for Film shootings as films like Rowdy rathore,Vikram rathod,GURU,KGF and lot of movies been shot around this place.. Aihole,Pattadakal,Bhutanatha temple and Badami caves are more attractive destinations

I know. That is why was surprised to see the railway station in such terrible condition. That is why created three IMGs specifically for this city. But, I hope SWR listens to us.
Amravati Exp very difficult to get Reserved tickets always Waiting so one more train is necessary from Howrah to Vasco beside Amravati exp.
Banashankari Amma temple is approx 5 kms from Badami caves. The deity is called Shakambhari a reincarnation of godess Parvati.
Railway station to Badami Bus stand one can get share autos for Rs10, Museum and the famous UNESCO World Heritage Badami Caves are walkable distance from Bus stand.
Only Banashankari Temple is little far from bus stand, need to catch auto for that.

Autos are available from Railway station to Badami bus stand, which is near Museum, taking Rs10.
Museum closes by 5PM and Badami caves close by 6PM.
Last Bus to Hubbali from Badami bus stand is at 8PM.
