This is a small station of ER on the Howrah Delhi main line but u will find get almost all facilities in this stations. Here are some positive points regarding this station.
• this station is one of the best stations in ER for railfanning. Trains on down line skips this station almost at 110 kmph although the up trains cross this station on a comparatively lower speed (70-80kmph) due to a lot of turnovers in Andal outer.

present in the station premise. For going to the canteen, just go to the FOB and move towards the pf 1 side. Get down from the FOB on the place just beside the pf 1. Here u can ask anyone who will tell u about the exact position of the canteen.
• Also u can get bus services at andal to various places like Asansol, Dhanbad, Durgapur, Bardhaman, Katwa, Digha, Kolkata, Haldia, Bankura, Dumka, etc as nation highway is in close proximity of the station. For going to station just go out of the station from pf 1 side and board a auto (u will get them in plenty) and tell them u want to go to "Andal more" from where u can board buses.
