This is the nearest station to the hieghest hill station in Andhra Pradesh, the Horsely Hills. 20kms from the railway station. But no Express train stops here. Better to alight at MPL, Madanapalli road railway station(CTM is the place name at which MPL is present) for more road connectivity at a distance of 27 kms. But one can get regular services from Madanapally bus stand which is 13 kms from MPL station.
