If you want better chances of confirmed tickets, book upto Buxar, Danapur or Patna as then you will get seats in GEN (General Quota).
I just got confirmed sets for journey on 06th aug upto Buxar, for going upto Varanasi.

ir give minimum attention towards long route trains like as 15906 vivek exp,15902 dbrg-sbc exp
Yea it's convenient for short stays n transits. Even the food is good. Shower options r also available AFAIR.
Had late lunch, so, didn't have anything except tea, which was good.
I had normal Thali, good in quality n quantity. Jeera Rice, Roti, Mix Veg, Dal, Paneer Sabji, Raita, Papad n Gulab Jamun. In Gujarati Thali which my colleague had the only difference was mix veg was substituted by Sev ki Sabji n Dal was sweet,
Its called sev tameta nu saag in gujrati(sev tamaatar ki sabzi)....a yummy dish

1. Tickets and availability: Even in the peak season, this is a train on which you can bank on. I traveled during the Christmas season and was successful in getting the tickets. The main advantage and disadvantage of this train are its timing at ADI. It arrives at ADI at a very odd time of 1:10 AM in the night due to which many people avoid it and making it available for others.
