If you are travelling in any Chengalpattu or Tirumalpur bound EMU from Chennai Beach, Chennai Egmore or Tambaram and if you have to get down at Perungalathur station, then please don't board the 10th coach of EMU (third from last) and also in the 3rd coach (third from first) when travelling towards TBM or MS. As there is a level crossing (LC No.32) which goes inbetween the two parts of the platform, the coach stands right in the middle of the level crossing and you may have to jump off from the coach which is nearly 2 meters high. So be cautious and always check for your coach while boarding the EMU at any station.
