suchi51 83 blog postsWhile officially there is no direct train from Siwan to Ballia/Ghazipur via the CPR-Aunrihar route, the morning DEMU 05146 DN to chapra changes direction and the same DEMU rake starts towards BUI/GCT/AUJ as 05135 UP. This works as a direct train to this route from Siwan
Siwan Jn has escalators on PF1 - both going up and down. Working most of the times. Its on the right side as soon as you enter the main station on PF1.
The PF2/3 does not have any escalators though.

The tea stall on PF-1 - under the foot-overbridge - has the best samosas - prepared fresh almost every hour - and is probably the best food to have at the station. at 2 pieces for Rs 10, its amazingly value for money as well.
