This is located right at the posh area of the city. But the station isn't so well developed. Only 2 Platforms and forget about catering services[or any such stuff] on the station.
Passenger volume is low, so transport may/may not be that easy to get[unless you have booked before]. The main 'chowk' is 1-2 kms from there and shared autos/taxis ply from there. To go to main Lucknow station from here, go to the chowk and take a shared auto. It's cheaper and depending on traffic will take anything from 20 mins - 50 mins.
