Toto prices are slightly higher than other towns. Bargain till you get the best price.

Didn't get you. Colonial language means local sense of mutual understanding. In almost whole of India nowadays, we call it "Toto". They were getting very popular in eastern India from 2013-14 for the sake of their low cost and pollution free transport. Presently, dominates the market.

Han apko auto mil jayega. 4 km distance hain. Sirf Election date ke aas pass milna muskil ho jayega.
Agar ap South Bihar pakad rahe hain to Purulia se pakadne mein asani hogi. Iss month election hain, Adra mein auto wale zyada maang sakte hain. Behtar hoga ap bus ya car se ayen. Bus stand se station ka Toto bhada Rs. 10/person hain.

Nowadays Autos have become rare here given the situation of petrol prices. 😂
Especially when fuel price becomes skyrocketing
There are 2 IRCTC and Rail provided cold drinking water vending machine in Adra station,one is between platform no 1 and 2 (towards Purulia, Asansol side) another one is between platform no 3 and 4 (towards Kharagpur side). With bottle 1 lit Rs 5.

At Adra, this train links for 12828/PRR-HWH EXP. If you're traveling from Purulia or Anara, get yourself an Mail Express ticket and not a SF one in UTS, ATVM or in counter. TTE onboard 12828 will allow you for the change over.
Running just behind 12828, the coaches doesn't get over congested by KGP bond passengers. Overwhelmingly, expect to arrive MDN 15-20 mins before time.( It's a Mail.:0 :0)
