I boarded from Puri to Dehri on Sone in 2S
It was my longest 2S journey as tickets were only available in this class

2. Toilets were neat and clean till evening but after Hijli or say from entering in bengal, unreserved tickets or no tickets passenger made the 2S as hell with their overloaded luggages.. blocked the gates..

3. Pantry Food is available however over charging is common as even pantry guys show their anger in this class as majority of them are from lower class or say labour class..
80rs for egg 🥚 Biryani that too, tasteless... Not so good but i don't found another option as Hijli has not much food options plus my coach was in last..

4. Tickets were checked in each zone... In ECR after Gomo some arguments with UTS pax who was trying to fool TTE by showing same tickets twice for double people.. that so called labour class UTS pax was acting like that railway owe him and he has power to travel like this.. however Imo ppl like these are curse to nation, in the name of garibi they block path for real garibs.. well later RPF handle him, he was forced to debaord at next station when next station came... He deny and then pay the fine..

5. Speed was 110 ... But in night in ECR we blow to 130 mps
However we were mostly ontime ... Was little bit delay after Hijli but still we maintain the TT due to slack..

It's my Personal Experience
This is one of worst station in India being big city as well as Capital City
1. Waiting Rooms are in pathetic conditions, upper class waiting rooms had to go for paid washrooms that is outside waiting hall on pf1

2. Food options are very less only IRCTV FOOD Track available that too dont open for 24 hours and as per railway rules it should be open for 24 hours along with other Vendors shops (sr dcm may impose fine if thwy found it close)
3-4 small vendors outlet served acked item food... Snacks biscuit as usual
I purchased a maggie noodles as usual worst in taste but what to do when no food options available and the moron vendor putted extra water into it as well which ruined more .. i dont want to spend a single min at this station i was fed up.. i took jaganath mail and went to Puri
3. Forgot in night that you will find out any shop that is open outisde , which hits me hard that being capital and big city the city has no options available after 11 pm... No zomato, swiggy available in night
4. Dormitory/ retiring rooms were closed for booking even when majority of stations opened this after covid19... Hotels available outside don't know much about them
I will suggest dont halt here for long better if you are going to Puri go directly there or reach Puri by any means for better facilities and services availability
5. Autos available outside station and as usual its only thing which is available in night 😆 ..
6. TTEs always available at Exit Platform for checking tickets.. and they grab lots of people without Tickets..

This station has a very good retiring room facility.
I've booked dormitory single bed yesterday for 12 hours.
