Lots of Railway personnel [from normal staff to loco pilots ] going towards Jhansi board this train at Kanpur, especially in 3A. As of this writing, this train has 3 3A coaches, but the excess of people [and WL folks too] make journey a nightmare.
It becomes half empty at JHS before going to GWL.

Avoid booking in SL class(dont ever try to),even if you are an intermediate or end to end traveller to SL, unreserved people early from BGP,HWH occupy place at lavatory area,near doors,so obviously there is no room for cleaniness:(...even coaches are pretty damn old(another one in the ignore list towards SBC)

After boarding from BBS , go to Upper berth (in case having Lower berth seat , exchange with someone just for some time) and go to sleep. Telling you do this or else your whole "happy morning" will turn into a "Bad morning".

This train is running on pretty old rakes and you will feel pretty violent jerks throughout journey from Chennai to Mysore and onward journey as well, irrespective of SL or AC, the jerks are very high intensity. Pregnant ladies and people with other medical challenges - please avoid this train, if possible. I had complained online to Rlwys, they replied that the entire rake is old and needs to be changed. But, they never change it. Toilets stink badly, as this train is hardly cleaned and while approaching Chennai form Mysore, it takes nearly 50 mins to reach Chennai Central from Perambur junction.
