One of the worst train to be handled in SR, extreme slack time in this era of VB. Mission raftaar gone for a toss. Halts at kadiri and samalpatti are intentionally given to slow it down.better to run it as a passenger train or cancel it permanently. CR can provide better train to connect NCJ via KjM.
This train should go back via SWR and KJM.
Extremely corrupt staff (read bus mafia influence) who purposely diverted this train via DMM-PAK skipping KJM and removing another connection between Mumbai and Bangalore.

Despite giving a lot of Slack time in SR it's gets delayed. Old TT and route was more suitable to this train. After covid SR has completely screwed up.

After Reaching Pakala Junction 16339 Mumbai CSMT - Nagercoil Express (via Katpadi Undergoes Rake Reversal and Engine is changed from Lead to Rear End Seen here is KALYAN | KYN WAP-7 #39046 getting couple with the rake to proceed towards Katpadi Junction.
