Aise haalat mein, zones ko achha hota ki passenger diesel locomotives dete jinme bahut saare hain. CR ne sahi kiya mere khayal se, WDP4D ko goods electric locomotives ke bajaye passenger trains dekar.

Good point. The railways need to smartly plan which locomotives to use. In some areas, trains with a lot of stops are given powerful electric locomotives like WAP-7/WAP-5, while in other areas like CR and SWR, superfast trains are using WAG-9/WAG-7 locomotives. What's the point of electrification if the trains can't get the right electric locomotives that match their speed and schedule? Even in the UBL-SBC section, trains like 12725/26 and 20653/54 recently got electric locomotives after the new WAP-7 locomotives were allocated to KJM shed, even though electrification was completed months ago. While the UBL shed has plenty of WAG-9s, it lacks electric locomotives for passenger trains. Indian Railways needs to produce more WAP-7 and WAP-5 locomotives instead of WAG-9 and allocate them to these areas that desperately need them. And if not, it's better to see a wdp4 locomotive working smoothly rather than seeing a "green Goblin" struggling to keep up with the train's schedule.
