Morning Arrival of Lumding-Agartala Exp. at Badarpur (Feb. 26, 2013) : A major highlight of my morning stint at the foot over-bridge! The Lumding-Agartala Exp. showed up with YDM4A loco in original livery. The popularity of the train was evident by the sizable crowd that descended onto the platform. And then the train was on its way, with Colin and myself witnessing the departure.

Halting at Badarpur - Agartala-Lumding Exp. (Feb. 28, 2013) : By the time the train reached Badarpur, we were all dead tired and wanted to hit the sack. Unsurprisingly, we wasted no time in relocating from sleeper to 2AC, and proceeded to make ourselves comfortable in our respective bays. As the train departed from Badarpur, I was enveloped with mixed feelings - happy that I had enjoyed this MG paradise to my heart's content and sad that I might never see MG alive at this station again. The video ends with shots of the coach interior along with my traveling companions.

railways should start introducing laying BG tracks and start running patch running of trains...DEMUs can be introduced in these sections where conversion is already done.....MG continue to run in long distance....as completion will take more time......this looks a viable option....

Mesmerizing Morning Metre Gauge Run - Agartala-Lumding Exp. (Feb. 28, 2013) : As we continued our descent after Lower Halflong, I positioned myself at the door to enjoy our passage towards Dyang. For the next few minutes, I soaked up whatever Mother Earth threw at me! The combination of a soothing breeze, the morning haze, the sun trying to break free from the mountains, the terrain undulations, and the track sounds was simply irresistible! What a shame that this section (including Lower Halflong station) will no longer exist after conversion.
