Ernakulam (ERS) ALCos in Mangaluru

In all these years that I have gone for Railfanning, spanning various locations; I have had considerably less run-ins with the Orange beauties from Kochi. Yes, I am talking of the Ernakulam ALCos, I have spotted them only a few times during some journeys; that too whilst I am on board some passing train. Here I present a small compilation of one rare occasion when I got to spot them thrice within the span of a few hours.

- 22636 Mangaluru Central Madgaon Intercity Exp
- 22149 Ernakulam Pune SF Exp
- 16337 Okha Ernakulam bi-weekly Exp
On most other Other occassions when I should have spotted an ERS ALCo with some train, it had always come with some other loco. The one Journey I had behind an ERS ALCo was behind a rebuilt blue-white livery loco; not the usual Orange-Cream livery synonymous with these beauties. So, I feel fortunate to have spotted these ALCos.
