Is this train permanently shifted to Tambaram ? Due to its extension average speed reduced ideally this train deserves speed up and its counterpart too
its not permanent, only for 3 months due to works @MAS
I had travelled alot in this train its a lifeline for many small stations on that route
It should be speeded up too much slack overtakes enroute should be made to depart at old timings from new delhi at 18:40
And that's why people always prefers TAMIL NADU EXPRESS first and GT as a second backup, if tickets are full in TN EXP.
Yes there is unnecessary slack overtake by many trains can be avoided between NDLS BPL AP Express which departs four hours after it also overtakes this train
Does this train get priority in BPL NDLS section
Avg Delay at Narmadapuram is 20 minutes
and Avg Delay at NDLS is 82 minutes
This is last 1 month data.
Railway should remove some halts of GT Express I Think these halts are unnecessary which in turn lead to reduce in priority
