No Prannoy. Insurgents don't throw stones at trains. They simply blast them. But in India in many places you will find this pernicious habit of throwing stones at or through train windows. So I think the net is indeed a protection against stones. After all we are the most CIVILIZED COUNTRY IN THE WORLD na.
2a of metre gauge has coupes? Not curtains? That is 2a of metre gauge is analogue of 1a of broad gauge? Then why is it 2a and not 1a?

The berths are much smaller, width and length in 2A MG than 1A BG

FraudsterConman 7672 blog postsMahur-Ditokchherra MG section must not be dismantled. It can be used as MG Heritage Ride using Vistadome MG Coaches.
NFR had retained the Hill section on the Lumding-Silchar route and a short MG section between SGUJ-Bagdogra for heritage runs.
Sadly, promises are not kept and Now they have dismantled the MG route in Barak Valley...
