As the train arrives at odd timings if there are not many boardings & deboardings, it can be be rerouted via Rayanapadu avoiding loco reversal at BZA with atleast 30-40 mts speedup in both directions by reducing slack. Must be given aggressive timetable, entire route is fit for 130 Kmph train is full AC, distance can easily be covered in less than 10 hrs 15 minutes.
They are 30-50 boarding and deboarding at Vijayawada in both directions and the stopage is commercially justified regarding revenue and number of footfalls. The bypass changes just before entering VJA PF hardly 1.5km from PF and train is cleared in 10-15mins as different locos pull in opp directions. The halt time will be shifted to Rayanpadu so effectively reduction is only 15-20 mins. Regarding speedup cannot expect anything in SCR as many daily intercity and overnight regional trains are being cancelled from past one year for freight services in backdoor new name citing Rolling Corridor Block.

It was introduced in Oct 2008 as triweekly with one rake so has a life of 4hrs for one rake and 5 yrs for another rake avg 4yrs. It may be last to be replaced.
Only daily GR on entire IR. No other GR is nearer to it for frequency of operation. Since inception, the train became so popular. The train requires new Rakes, hope to see as NER side GRs are already being converted to LHB 3E from April 10th.

Was converted and again started in icf rakes after 2 rounds journey as railway was going in loss according to them
It's sent to all zones as other zones will be receiving the old coaches.
