Chord and the South Eastern Railway route near Mustafachack station, facilitating direct connections between East Railway stations and Bankura via Masagram, Mustafachack, Gopinathpur, Indas, and Beliarot. The automation of the signaling system in Masagram will increase the sectional capacity of the Howrah-Bardhaman Chord. During this period, trains like the Howrah-Siuri Hul Express (22321/22322), Sialdah-Asansol Intercity Express (12383/12384), and Sialdah-Siuri MEMU Express (13179/13180) will be cancelled or have their routes adjusted. Other trains like the Howrah-Bikaner, Bikaner-Howrah, Jodhpur Express, Jodhpur-Howrah, Howrah-Mumbai Mail, Mumbai-Howrah Mail, Howrah-Jabalpur Shaktipuंज Express, Jabalpur-Howrah Shaktipuंज Express, Howrah-Jammutavi Himgiri Express, and Jammutavi-Himgiri Express will operate on alternative routes.
