जमुई। रविवार को पूर्व रेलवे के आसनसोल रेल मंडल के काशीटांड़, मधुपुर एवं सिमुलतला रेलवे स्टेशन के पास अप रेल ट्रैक में मरम्मत कार्य को लेकर जसीडीह-झाझा रेलखंड पर दो मेमू ट्रेनें रद हो गई। इसके अलावा कई अन्य ट्रेनों का परिचालन प्रभावित हुआ। ब्लॉक के कारण रेल यात्री हलकान व परेशान रहे। सिमुलतला रेलवे स्टेशन के निकट ट्रैक मरम्मत कार्य को मंडल सहायक संकेत, दूरसंचार अभियंता राकेश ¨सह, वरीय अनुभाग अभियंता जेपी नारायण, शशि रंजन, कनीय अभियंता पंकज कुमार चन्द्रा एवं रेल सिगनल अभियंता अश्वनी कुमार आदि के नेतृत्व में अंजाम दिया गया। कार्य में बड़ी संख्या में चतुर्थ वर्गीय रेल कर्मी को लगाया गया। सिमुलतला में सुबह 9 बजे से ब्लॉक लिया गया जो दोपहर 12 बजकर 55 के आसपास समाप्त हुआ। वहीं कांशीटांड़ एवं मधुपुर में सुबह 7 बजकर 5 मिनट से 11 बजकर 50 मिनट तक के लिए ब्लॉक लिया गया। ब्लॉक के कारण 63565 अप जसीडीह-झाझा...

एवं 63566 डाउन झाझा-जसीडीह मेमू, 63567 आसनसोल-झाझा एवं 63568 झाझा-आसनसोल मेमू को रद कर दिया गया। इसके अलावा 12317 अप अकालतख्त एक्सप्रेस अपने समय से 50 मिनट एवं 63573 अप वैद्यनाथधाम किऊल मेमू 1 घंटा 45 मिनट लेट से चली। ब्लॉक से प्रभावित डाउन की भी सभी गाड़ियां रही। सिमुलतला रेलवे स्टेशन से सुबह 9 बजे से लेकर दोपहर 12 बजकर 55 बजे तक पेपर वर्क के माध्यम से डाउन की गाडि़यां चली।

With two pairs of intercity express trains on the Amritsar/ Jalandhar-Ludhiana-New Delhi section being restored after about a week and Shatabdi express trains on this route also maintaining their schedule, there was huge relief for rail passengers, who had gone through an ordeal due to persistent erratic run and cancellation of trains at the 11th hour.

to clear extra rush of passengers during the ongoing festival season Northern Railways have decided to extend the run of the 82651/52 Yeshvantpur-Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra-Yeshvantpur Weekly Suvidha Superfast Express Special Train and to run 02135/36 Pune-Jammu Tawi-Pune Superfast Weekly AC Special train.
The 82651 Yeshvantpur-Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra Weekly Suvidha Superfast Express Special Train would run on every Saturday from October 14 to October 28, 2017, while the 82652 Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra-Yeshvantpur Special Train would run on every Tuesday from October 17 to 31, 2017.
According to the railways, the 02135/02136 Pune-Jammu Tawi-Pune Superfast Weekly AC Special would make three trips in each direction.
The 02135Pune-Jammu Tawi Superfast Weekly AC Special train will depart from Pune at 5.15 am on every Wednesday from October 11 to 25, 2017, to reach Jammu Tawi at 6.00 pm the next day. In the return direction, the 02136 Jammu Tawi -Pune Superfast Weekly AC Special train will depart from Jammu Tawi at 07.20 am on every Friday from October 13 to October 27, 2017, to reach Pune at 8.05 pm the next day.
Comprising of 15 AC three-tier coaches, the 02135/02136 Pune-Jammu Tawi -Pune Superfast Weekly AC Special train will stop at Lonawala, Kalyan, Vasai Road, Vapi, Surat, Vadodara, Ratlam, Kota, Mathura, Delhi Safdarjung, Ambala Cantt, Ludhiana, Jallandhar Cantt and Pathankot Cantt stations en route both directions.

They were the worst hit as two pairs of intercity trains – 12459/60 and 14681/82 running on the New Delhi-Amritsar-New Delhi and New Delhi-Jalandhar-New Delhi section, remained off track today as well. To add to the woes of travelling public, two pairs of morning and evening Shatabdi express trains on the New Delhi-Amritsar-New Delhi route were rescheduled (late departure) by three to five hours , As Reported By Tribune.

15011 लखनऊ-चंडीगढ़ एक्सप्रेस, 12237 वाराणसी-जम्मू बेगमपुरा एक्सप्रेस, 13005 हावड़ा-अमृतसर मेल, 12317 कोलकाता-अमृतसर एक्सप्रेस, 13151 कोलकाता-जम्मूतवी एक्सप्रेस, 13049 हावड़ा-अमृतसर मेल।• एनबीटी, लखनऊ : हरियाणा और पंजाब में हालात सही होने के बाद ट्रेनों का संचालन बहाल किया जाने लगा है। रेलवे अधिकारियों का दावा है कि एक दर्जन से ज्यादा ट्रेनों का संचालन बहाल कर दिया गया है, हालांकि अभी पूरी तरह संचालन पटरी पर आने में एक-दो दिन लग जाएंगे। यात्रियों की सुविधा के लिए रेलवे प्रशासन ने वाराणसी से जम्मू जाने वाली बेगमपुरा एक्सप्रेस शुरू कर दी, लेकिन परिचालन संबंधी कारणों से जम्मू-वाराणसी बेगमपुरा एक्सप्रेस का संचालन सोमवार को भी रद रहेगा।

A low-intensity bomb was recovered in a toilet of an express train on Thursday morning with a letter that warned of strikes to avenge the recent killing of a Lashkar-e-Taiba militant in Jammu and Kashmir, police said.
The explosive was found in the B3 coach of the Akal Takht Express, which was on way to Amritsar in Punjab from Howrah in West Bengal.
