If AC doesn't suit your pocket, always try for upper or side upper berth in sleeper class.
Don't even dare to take a LB or SLB because you will struggle for your own seat in GAYA-MGS & MZP- ALD section and vice-versa

passenger traveling from allahabad to mirzapur. book ticket from fatehpur rather booking from allahabad hence chance to get confirm ticket is more in same fare or price.

If you are travelling in either ways,and having a connecting journey from new delhi or puri,then please keep a buffer time of atleast 5-7 hr....bcoz it generally has a poor punctuality at destination stations in both directions....
