rajanparanjape 1 blog postsTraveled on 25-03-2016 from Ratnagiri to Vasai Road. Boarded Ratnagiri at 2.00 pm. My coach was B-5. But afternoon lunch was not given to me. Simply in the evening some snacks were given but that was also have in small quantity. Not worth for food. For speed it is ok.
Lunch is not included in Fare for Ratnagiri onwards bound passengers.
Passengers boarded till Sawantwadi road are entitled for lunch and also included in fare.
Ratnagiri to Vasai , Your ticket fare was only entitled for Evening snacks and rasam.

Dinner(Jain) of Day-2, served after Vasai Road: Matar Paneer, Mix-Daal, Rice, Parathas(hot n soft), Rasgullas, Curd, Pickles.
Jain menu may be different from simply veg., like there was Rotis(not hot) in simply veg menu and gulab jamun.
I first came to know about this while travelling on BCT Duranto.

Subeesh Venugopal~ 6165 blog postsI have traveled in 12431 many times and all times this train is so so dirty. One or two times i have mentioned this in the complaint book as well but still i have not found any remarkable change. I request IR to kindly give importance to this Raj as well.

snowsown 32 blog postsvery bad train in terms of food, cleanliness,..last week traveled in this train from trissur to delhi, worst food was served, coaches were not cleaned, . better to take another trains and to pay the catering charges, only advantage is reaches on time
