psavijay 57 blog postsNo food available in train, En route you may get or may not, pls carry enough foods if you travel with kids. Tried to book food online but train schedule not matching with actual timing so lots of inconvenience in delivery though train reached Dadar on time.
This train has charging points in SL for every seat like 3AC. Also the cleanliness of this train is very good, SL coaches are brand new. Punctuality is also excellent. This train is excellent for railfanning as passes through konkan railway. overall a superhit train. Should be made triweekly in next budget.

sanghimangi 580 blog postsVery serious problem is food and please update information about catering which is not available in this train both inside/outside. Last stop to get a dinner is at Calicut and next day lunch will be available on request at Roha. Ratnagiri or Chiplun, one has to adjust with Vada Pav as a breakfast and nothing else you'll get including Tea. Only coffee is available in many places in the Konkan stretch.
the only hope for good food is Madgaon if train comes on pf1, you will get good quality food here
Dinner available at calicut & Kannur, e-catering is also available, breakfast u'l have to compromise with vada pav, lunch u'll have to give order to the catering person.

sanghimangi 580 blog postsTypical old coaches are attached in this train and toilets are quite clean on Day 1. But there is no on board cleaning or intermediate cleaning at any of the stations leaves the fate of the toilets very bad on Day 2.
I traveled on this train and was quiet happy with the overall experience, the train was on dot, with the arrivals and departure. I reached half an hour ahead of the time. The coaches were neat and clean. Very satisfied
i travaled with many fri dr to mao but sean neat and claen coaches
Firstly, my comments for TEN-DR train (not DR-MAO-TEN).
Then, in either directions, for first day, Toilets are good, but it becomes bad on Day 2, which is a big problem for people who are traveling to longer distances, not just DR-MAO...
