food is good,thali costs rs100,coffee costs rs7, paneer pakora costs rs30, chowmin costs rs 35, tea costs rs5.

Well,after 12261,this is the best train to travel to howrah.Through the arrival at howrah station is odd(i.e at 3.35 am) still it is a better train than Geetanjali and cst-hwh mail(via nagpur).This train is very well maintained by C.R.Jnaneswari,being a super deluxe train,has a top most priority in the entire route.No one dares to overtake this train.Through the coaches are old (some sleeper/ac coaches are of 1995-made),Still one can travel in comfortable mode.I don't know about the cleanliness of sleeper coaches,but the cleanliness of Ac coaches is up-to-date.Even Ac attendants and food staffs behaviour are very good,through not as good as 12261,still it is better.Dinner/Lunch/snacks of these train is extremely awesome.One must try 'Noodles' of this train.

It is better than trains on this route, incl Duronto. Of course, food quality is based on personal opinion
Absolutely. I travel at least thrice a year to Kolkata from Mumbai on this train. I cannot remember anytime, when the food was bad. All along it was quite good and filling, with good service. You can even get extras, like extra rice. If you tell the waiters, they will remember it and serve it to you. of course you will have to pay for that, followed by a healthy tip to your server, at end of journey.
One of the best maintained trains on this route. I would say the BEST train in terms of cleanliness.
OBHS does a brilliant job. While departing at night from LTT, it starts with a neat and clean rake.
Next day morning itself OBHS starts doing its job and tries their best to keep the coaches clean.
