sunilgaonkar 91 blog postsThe existing route of 17311/12 MAS VSG express via JTJ, YPR, UBL is a very lengthy and time consuming route although its provides as alternate train to VSG from YPR.
As the earlier biweekly 17309/10 YPR VSG express is converted to daily since November 2019 the 17311/12 MAS VSG express can be easily diverted via RU, GTL, BAY route to serve the destination quickly.

Wonder why has SWR still not restored this train and it's RSA partner VSG VLKN express even when December is the month of peak tourist season in Goa. Really would have been helpful and another thing VSG MAS express should also get a change in CC replacing 2 UR coaches with one HA and one 3 AC.
VSG VLNK exp should be restored especially after august citing that our lady of good health vailankanni matha festival.

VSG VLKN should now be made to run via KR it's time SWR and KR politics is out to end now.
The MP of Udupi has expressed her discomfort with KR and complained to Minister of Railways about KR neglecting coastal Karnataka and not introducing new trains, so its high time that it should be merged in IR.
But regarding Goa I should say KR has done much better job than SWR. My personal opinion is that VSG LD should be given to KR. With SWR they only care about the port at VSG and nothing more than that.
I think it's time now MPs of Goa too express discomfort with SWR and complain to the ministry too.
For 17311 , if someone wishes to book in GNWL to get confirmed tickets , then book from JTJ to MAO and mention the respective boarding station. Ex. If travelling from Krishnarajapura to Dharwad , then better book from Jolarpettai (JTJ) to Madgaon (MAO) and change boarding point to KJM, chances of confirmation will be high

nambi83 362 blog postsIf anybody wants to go Bangalore(K.R Puram,Yesvantpur) from Chennai at last minute don't worry u can purchase unreserved ticket and board this train one hour before the departure time, in general compartment u will easily get a seat. Also mobile charging point available in general compartment also. This was my favorite day train to reach Bangalore from Chennai.Even last week i travelled in this train from Chennai to Bangalore(K.R puram).

Let me tell you what that means for this train. Meaning of catering in this train is limited to orders of dinner and breakfast. Besides these two times, do not expect ANYTHING on board. Not even a water bottle.

mahesh 11 blog postsno pantry car catering facility poor,train reaches yesvantpur at10:00pm but no good catering or options for dinner, good breafast at hubli
I deeply recommend the passengers to have FULL SNACKS at JOLARPETAI Jn... because after that they will get VERY GOOD QUALITY FOOD at UBL... If LUCK is in your favour at Platform 01, there are 2 very good restaurants
