Very dirty and unclean sleeper coaches. Always overcrowded (i.e, no of passengers greater than berths) due to boarding of Waitlisted passengers. Be careful of RAC/WL passengers who will always try to take your empty birth for a nap.
Rule is not applicable for tips which were registered 2 yrs earlier.
Frankly speaking I really don't know when such rule was made. I am not a regular traveler, I used to travel only once/twice every year. The regular trip writers may explain the necessity of such rules!!
The fastest train from MAS-HWH and the second fastest train from MAS-BZA after the Tamil Nadu Express.The legendary Coromandel Express is known for its time-keeping and reaches almost every station earlier or on time.
it is fastest from bza-mas, even faster than tamil nadu by 10 minutes in bza-mas section.... but friend it doesn't reach most of the stations on time... infact it reaches majority of the stations late by few minutes.. but this is the story of all indian railway trains...
But in History of IR, this train sadly is the most accident prone.

Punctuality has been drastically reduced of this train now-a-days. It is stopped several times in between Balasore-Bhubaneshwar, Visakhapattanam-Vijaywada stretch (obvious due to several unnecessary halts). Undergoes good run in Brahmapur-Visakhapattanam & Vijaywada-Chennai stretch.
From Howrah to Bhubaneswar, I have never seen Coromandal getting lesser priority in my life. This runs at a Premium Slot i.e Puri Shatabdi-MAS Coromandal. These two run back to back. And always maintains a Perfect run between HWH-VSKP.
But yes, it gets slow run between VSKP-BZA due to slack timings. It always arrives Eluru delayed, but arrives BZA nearly ontime.

What you said about priority is absolutely true. But several times you can found it reaching VSKP late (sometimes heavy delayed).
Just see the travel time from KUR to VSKP. Its to aggressive and slight delays are expected to happen, like 1-1:30hrs which is easily covered between EE-BZA slack.
Its due to over congestion, earlier it used to reach VSKP atleast 20-30 mins earlier.
Irrespective of Over-congestion, Coromandal gets the top-most priority in KGP-VZM stretch. And if we check the arrival history at VSKP, regularly its arriving by 30 minutes delays barring 1-2 instance of 1hr or more hours delays.
Travelled in this train till VSKP. The speed of the train at night, especially from BAM onwards is furious and sleeping on the berth feels like you might be thrown away from the berth at any moment. Could be due to my berth position just above the train bogie.
Myself also had a very similar experience while travelling by the KING of SER. Its not the fault of your berth as you are talking about but I personally feel that trains like Falaknuma & Coromandel do a bit overspeeding during night time.

Its not just CBC rakes. I have felt in MAS SBC mail too. Especially on the curves,it seems that the centrifugal force(:P) is trying to throw you off the berth!
