sudhirgoa~ 9366 blog posts12051 has a Vistadome coach. The Vistadome coach has an observation area on one side where one can stand and watch the view. In 12051 the Vistadome coach is the last coach and therefore there is clear view of the rail track and the scenery from the observation area. However, in 12052 the vistadome coach is immediately after the loco therefore the observation area does not offer any view other than the back of the loco. Therefore, if you decide to travel by the Vistadome coach, it makes sense to book by 12051 rather than 12052
when they are taking money from passengers, they should attach it at the back in other journey also. Anyways... we know now. Thank You!
As it is, the JS has to have a quick turn around time at Madgaon to return to Dadar on time at night. Just imagine, how much time the shunting will take. The coach not only has to be taken to the back of the train but has to be REVERSED in direction AFAIK the observation area is only on one side of the coach. Try and imagine the situation, and I am sure you will understand the complication.

Yeah, will probably try it out in March or April. will travel from Karmali to Dadar by Tejas and return by JS Vistadome!. Lets see whether I can manage to make my dream into reality! :)

Seat are like JS in LHB .In ICF they are like a bench.And its just a wish.

brohan08 255 blog postsJan Shatabdis are the worst trains in IR....always overcrowded.... 12051 is only good, becoz of its speed....PNVL-RN just 4 hours....
As its janshatabdi no genral tkt available and it always run full you have to book atlast one month prior in off season and in may holi and december end you have ro book on arp and in ganpati it reaces wl above 300 within minutes

Correction its not one of the fastest. It is the fastest train on KR between Dadar and Madgaon..
yes it is 'The fastest' train from DDR to MADG covering almost 665 KM in almost 9 Hr. The only problem is that in tunnels it generates a lot of smoke and people sometime faces problems.
This smoke problem would be a universal one na or is there something about this js
But dude Tejas express is a fully air conditioned train so how do you expect people to experience smoke problems?
By universal I meant all mail express except raj and tejas which are premium trains
it isnt necessary that all Air conditioned trains are premium.ex-Coimbatore-Bikaner/Bikaner-Coimbatore AC Express.
Are yaar topic yeha non ac ka chal raha hai tum kyu ac ke peeche pade ho. Sabko pata hai ki ac coaches me smoke problem nahi hota. Why are you repeatedly diverting let him answer what he wants to say about this js

mlotlikar 174 blog postsIf wish to book to a Tatkal in this Train during the pick season, directly opt for Premium Tatkal rather than spending time with Tatkal....You will get a seat @ same price as that of Tatkal without any additional Price increase....I am successful in all 3 attempts in last one week....
