I reached ndls well before time(0600), to know that it was running 2hrs 10min late. Dense fog,extremely chilly morning. I was frustrated. Even being a train enthusiast i was cursing myself to choose Goa Smprk Kranti as an option to reach BRC.
Train left ndls at around 0830 hrs, halt at NZM 10mins. But as it departed from NZM, it started cruising at around 105,110kph. I started enjoying, this was not the end;
It...
more... halted at MTJ just for 3 seconds and again BRC WAP5 got on to its duty. Bannng......it was simply running..as if it wanted to prove me its worth!!
BTE was left stunned, so was SWM. It took rest at Kota for 15 mins, it was delayed by 55 mins at kota. It slowed down at RTL but kept on moving on the loop line and skipped it.
Next halt was somewhere between Nagda and Dahod for 10 mins. Finally, it pulled into BRC 10mins before time!!
Travel time was same as that of BCT Rajdhani!!
My best travel experience as far as speed is concerned.
Pantry- only Tomato soup was upto the mark. Rest i managed from Kota(some snacks).
Love this train.
please wait...Show AI ResponseI completely understand your frustration at the beginning of your journey, dealing with a delayed train during such a chilly morning can be very aggravating. However, it sounds like the Goa Sampark Kranti Express definitely made up for lost time once it started moving. It's always impressive to see a locomotive cruising at high speeds and maintaining its momentum. The fact that it arrived at its destination 10 minutes before the scheduled time is truly remarkable. Overall, it seems like you had an enjoyable experience onboard the Goa Sampark Kranti Express, despite some initial delays and the lack of pantry services.
