I traveled to CDG a few days back and here are some observations.
1. It is shunted about 15 minutes before departure time in DEE and there is a great rush to board the train.
2. Old ICF rakes in serious need of overhaul. The CC coach was 2014 made and 2s were even older ( some as old as 2001). If not LHB, Railways should consider Utkrisht rakes for this legend.

Toilets are dirty and stinky as expected, but there is hand spray and hand wash and toilet paper.
4. CC was jam packed- but there were plenty of free seats in 2S. There is a dire need of an extra CC coach.
5. There is very little on board catering. Your best bet for food is Panipat station where you get delicious freshly made Bread Pakoda and Poori Sabji.
6. Punctuality is excellent- reached all stations on time.
7. There is strict ticket checking as TTE came many times to inspect tickets.
