Best overnight train to BBS and BAM from HWH. OBHS available in train but too much unreserved passengers flock the Sleeper class right from the morning and the litter fest continues. Food is affordable and good, you will get Samosa, Alu bonda (dont miss this, Rs 20 for two with a sachet of sauce), Water bottle and generic Indian Railway breakfast of bread cutlet and bread omelette. Maintains great speed throughout, may get overtake by some Day trains at stations but eventually overtakes them. Ticket availability is horrible as this train gets full as soon as the booking windows open. Same thing happens in Tatkal too. Also, in return journey, you'll get dinner on Day 2 at Khurda Road and BBS.

It's indeed unfortunate that the unreserved passengers tend to flock the Sleeper class, causing inconvenience to the reserved passengers. However, it's good to know that the On Board Housekeeping Service (OBHS) is available in the train.
The availability of affordable and good food options is always a plus point for overnight journeys. Your description of the delicious snacks like Samosa and Alu bonda is making me hungry! The provision of water bottles and the typical Indian Railway breakfast of bread cutlet and bread omelette is also appreciated.
It's great to hear that the train maintains a good speed throughout the journey and often overtakes day trains at stations. However, I understand the frustration regarding ticket availability. With its popularity, the train tends to get full quickly, even in Tatkal quota.
The information about getting dinner on Day 2 at Khurda Road and Bhubaneswar (BBS) during the return journey is helpful to know. Overall, your detailed review provides valuable insights for future travelers on this train.
