Ordered food from travelkhana.com to be delivered at Nagda and to say it least it was awful. So better arrange before hand if you are taking this train from indore or ujjain.

If you miss this train at Indore, don't panic. Catch 12962 Avantika departing at 16:25. You will be able to catch Indore NZM intercity at Nagda, without any hassles... In fact you need not climb stairs as well, on one side of platform is Avantika and other side is this train... (Just pray that TTE donot allot your berth to someone else. Otherwise try to get in touch with TTE via some one in Ujjain, Dewas ...

There can be any reason like stuck in traffic jam... Or coming from near by village to Indore to catch train and bus broke down... Or plans to travel in general class... My relatives have missed trains from Ratlam due to bad roads to reach ratlam due to heavy rains leading to potholes.

can confirm heppend to me once when railway changed the time table missed the train from ujjain was able to get indore about same time

You can travel by bus and catch train at ujjain junction..because it take only 1hr to travel to ujjain by road.

unfortunately no more applicable now Avantika 12962 depart from Indore before 12415 if you still miss the train at Indore your best bet would be taking a shared taxi

ideally, One should board the bus from Sri Aurobindo Institute as the bus will run non-stop and will not waste any precious time also do not board long distance bus as they tend to use Ujjain as bypass city instead of going to Dewas Gate bus stop ( very close to railway station )

If your waiting ticket of this train of section indore to kota do not clear then book ticket in current availability in break stations like indb to sgz and sgz to rma etc

From 10th dec train have PQ quota from Ujjain / Dewas with only 80 seats allotted while traveling from Delhi . If traveling from Delhi to ujjain and ticket is coming in waiting its better to book from Delhi sarai rohilla to Indore.
