Toilets are clean and water is available. People travelling in the train make a mess of toilets though.
When we completed our journey in 17412 recently, after coming home, we noticed that our bags, specially snacks pack were torn. My doubt is that there are rodents in the train but I cannot confirm the same. I am sure that our snack pack was fine before we started the journey.
No food available from Kolhapur. Dinner is loaded from Miraj and only Biryani (Veg and Egg) is available. I took Veg Biryani and it costed Rs. 50/-. The taste was bad and I got stomach ache after eating it. It would be better to buy food from Kolhapur from restaurant nearby railway station.
While travelling by this train at night, keep your windows closed till pune as some robbing or attacking incidents have happened.Dont carry any jewellery or precious things.
True because police officers come to coach and they force people to close the windows which are of metal steel...The catering is good i like the biryani :D
