If you are travelling in 17229 Sabari exp from TVC to HYB, travel in AC class.
If you travel in non- AC classes it will be a very tough time as it is very hot and passengers with unreserved tickets occupy our seats. We cannot lie down or move out easily. At night time only we can lie or do anything. But in AC class, only the reserved passengers travel and AC is there to protect us from the scorching heat.
If you are not able to get tickets from Coimbatore Jn for this train, try from Palakkad junction which is the previous stop. This falls under GNWL (only if u book till Guntur Jn). Same tip can be followed during tatkal booking also. Tatkal from Coimbatore will only be 43 in sleeper class where as from palakkad it will be around 238.
Note: If u dont book tickets till Guntur Junction from Palakkad, it will come under PQWL which is difficult to get confirm. In that case u can book from Coimbatore otself which falls under RLWL.

looks like they changed... i booked from ERS with bp at CBE last time for GNWL...
Thats the mistake you did of putting boarding point as CBE. You should have got it changed later.
Now changing the BP while booking itself wont affect the quota.
U can still check the status from PGT to GNT sir before disagreeing with me!!!!

This train gets excellent cleaning by the staff at Erode station. This is extremely useful as by this time the train wash room start to get extremely foul smell.
Was happy to see nice cleaning of floors too and spraying. Really a good trip by 20 Apr Sabari...

Update on pantry services-
1) I ordered bread omelette as breakfast. The omelette was too bland.
2) there was one pantry guy who was over smart. He was serving Banana fry per plate with 3 piece for Rs. 30. I said I need only 2 piece. He said we don't serve less than one plate. I thus took this snacks. Just five minutes after another pantry guy came with same snack who was so courteous and was serving even per piece for Rs. 10.

Passengers on 3AC please carry a towel if you are used to use it often. They have now stopped providing towels ( useful for wiping after face wash etc); especially for ladies.
Just an addition. They are providing towels only on request from passengers. When I casually enquired about towel, the attender gave me.
