Rs 50 thali available in this train...just need to tell the pantry car vendor to get normal ( saadi) thali 50 rs wali and he will provide without any fuss..food is fine and for 50 rs fills the tummy properly
Gets huge bookings on MAS-BZA and NGP-NDLS sectors. So a BZA-NGP, BPQ-NGP, WL-NGP ticket is likely to be confirmed no matter how high the waitlist is.
Train is more punctual. More preference is given to this train than the Grand Trunk(GT) Exp. Book the tickets for the summer journey earlier to avoid RACs and WLs. Mostly after crossing Jhansi, half of The train will get emptied. Traffic between NZM - NDLS will be slightly more during Summer season.

Subeesh Venugopal~ 6165 blog postsOne of the best and punctual trains i have ever traveled. This is one of the fastest super fast trains which has least number of stops and pretty much punctual. The timings are also ideal while departing from Chennai(10 pm) and New delhi(10:30 pm) and reaching time is morning 7 in both cases.
Agree though a small correction 12622 is 0715 at MAS. Also my suggestion would be to please not have dep./arr times in times as these can change even tomorrow and your tip will expire.
