12779/80 Goa express was supposed to get 4 SL coaches in place of AC coaches (to make it S1-S6 totally) ,from when this is to happen? Or the decision has been reverted?
It will get from June. Now it's running with 4 GS and 2 SL coaches.

Good info.. I guess, except Guwahati, Dibrugarh, NJP region pitlines, all other NFR pitlines are under utilized..

The ACC coaches of GR are 16+ years old so there is no point in modifying them and using them again for 3 years which is waste of expenditure. Run as 3├Ч3 ACC in intercity or scrap them.
Yes, they should experiment with this class in Intercity trains (6 hrs journeys) to check for patronage. The GR Chair Car could accommodate 30 more passengers than your regular CC.
If the seats could be redone somewhat, it might just find a niche for itself between CC and 2S coaches.
