I was travelling today on this train only. Delayed by 50 mins. After entering SWR division, stopped at many places due to the traffic.
Train No 12225/12226 KaifiyatExpress is going to change from 01/07/2024 as 15422/15423
Train No 12555/12556 Gorakdham Express is going to change from 01/07/2024 as 15255/15256

आनंद विहार टर्मिनल के साथ दिक्कत यह है कि उसका दिल्ली जंक्शन से सीधा रास्ता नही है। रेलगाड़ियों को साहिबाबाद आकर इंजन पीछे करके ले जाना पड़ेगा।
आनंद विहार पर 9 प्लेटफार्म जरूर है और उतने काफी भी है लेकिन इसको मेंटेनेंस के लिए दिल्ली जंक्शन की पिट लाइन में ले जाना पड़ेगा।

Yes. Then terminal change is possible. Anand Vihar is having sufficient parking space.
When started Kaifiyat Exp was M/E category train. later upgraded to SF ..
1.Train no of 12801/02 Purushottam Superfast Express will be changed to 18401/18402 W.E.F 01.07.24
2.Train no. of 12892/91 PURI - BGY will be changed to 18404/18403 W.E.F 01.07.24.

Massively slowed down in HIJ-BKSC part of the journey. HIJ to BKSC is 289.5 kms, Purushottam average speed 45 kph from 1/7/24. HIJ to BKSC will now take 6 hrs 25 mins!!

Ye kaha dekh liya? 10-15 years aage aisa schedule hota tha. Why would they even degrade the current schedule which is absolutely fine.

vgirik69 36 blog postsI have seen notification from ECoR Train no of 12801/02 Purushottam Superfast Express will be changed to 18401/18402 W.E.F 01.07.24. Good move. I feel 12727/28 also be down graded to normal express as for last 2 years Godavari lost its punctuality both SC side and VSKP side. Unnecessarily, SCR is charging SF for past passenger.

Since when has Purushottam started to overtake Poorva? Their schedules are hours apart brother, what even are you saying.
Well thats right, doesn't overtake, but time slot is fixed. Purushottam exp will go first to ndls and the poorva exp follows it, almost 2 hours difference on arrival but from gaya jn while departure, it is almost an hour difference. I know that Poorva has diff route after DDU.
If gets delayed than 12801 has to arrive first even though late by 1 hour.
They are many such trains Gowthami,Janmabhoomi come in line which are always late in both sides. Lot of other overnights of SCR have 56kmph.
You are highly mistaken if you think that Purushottam had a bigger priority than Poorva. Nowadays it has become fashionable to bash anything regarding WB, but don't forget Poorva still connects two Metro cities...
It is sad to see the planned degradation of Puru, but please talk factually...
