#moderator sir, #admins, #monitors and all other #members of IRI. I feel, there must be another tab under the info of a particular railway station, the name of tab is "Platform information". This tab will mention every platform number and to which trains it compulsorily / predominantly caters to. Also, the mainline platforms, should be marked with (M). This will be helpful for normal people who need to travel unreserved, with an immediate decision. Many of stations lack announcement, so it will be helpful. Now some of you might tell me that platform numbers of stations with respect to trains exists on IRI, but that does not help for many trains halting at one station. For example: Borivali /BVI (9 PFs) Platform 1: Virar bound slow trains/ Churchgate bound Slow, semifast trains (Borivali originating) Platform 2: Predominantly to Churchgate bound Slow, semifast trains. mail express going out of Mumbai only Platform 5(M): Churchgate bound fast/ mail express coming in Mumbai only. Platform 6: Churchgate fast/ mail,express going out of Mumbai (mostly Bandra terminus originating) Platform 6A: No preference. Platform 7,8: Terminal platforms. Churchgate bound slow,semifast trains only.
