All the trains while descending a ghat section have to take halts at the enroute stations for mandatory brake tests. But the DDS station is a km. away from the falls so it may or may not halt at the falls talk to the LP or Station Master at CLR many tourists get a free ride here in the locos or brake vans of freights.
