IRCTC should look into 'technology issues' in online booking of tickets from Tatkal quota. Confirmed tatkal tickets are booked within minutes from 10 am - the current time of opening of its online booking. The most intriguing aspect for is that mostly even if you join the online booking at 10am by the time you pay through net banking to complete the process what you finally get is a wait listed tatkal ticket. Irony is that the IRTC does not warn you about that and rather greets you for booking 'successfully " !! My suggestion is for individuals, confirm tatkal tickets should be ' blocked ' the moment you go ahead to pay for that and if one does not pay within reasonable time , say 3 to 5 minutes that 'blocking ' may be undone.
