thangavelsv 9 blog postsis there any proposal on revised timings for 17236 NCJ - SBC ?.. From salem to bangalore it takes more than 8 hrs. It will be better if it reaches hosur before 5 30 AM

Very difficult to change the schedule due to single line constrain from NCJ to TN and platform availability at SBC as of now
I'm Sure that this is a concern to every passenger, who has to wait patience in the train for 3 hours between Rasipuram & Salem.
The Problem is not becoz of the Platform in SBC, but the route from SA to SBC, where in, there're three Trains Passing, which is Mayiladuthurai-Mysore, Tuticorin-Mysore & Kannur-Yeswanthpur.
The Train departs Rasipuram at 12:38 AM or 00:38 AM, after which, it's halted for one train ( MAS-Palani ) for three hours. after which, it follows to SA.

True, no body objected to ur statement! don't we have around 10 stations with dual platforms? in the same route. Please check that too.
This defintely a concern, for reason the train is made to halt somewhere.. 8 hrs is way too much.. May be tooo much political pressure not to allow trains to be faster.. so simply for name sake they have a train and force people not usable..
