can i get same priority(confirmation) like as general quota w/l, if i book a w/l ticket under sc quota..??

ok... i want to book a senior citizen ticket in 13238 from agc lko on 9th march in 3a or 2a.. but it'll show w/l . i only want to know that.. if i book that ticket then what r the chances of confirmation?? will it be considered same as general quota ticket?? or given less priority due to senior citizen quota??(as under senior citizen quota fare is less, so it may possible that railway giving less priority over general ticket while confirming my ticket)
