What are the rules for different "from" station and " actual boarding" station. If a train starts from A tn, and reaches E station as destination. I have to visit fron C to D stn but as the quota between C and D is less, while booking Eticket I book ticket from B stn to D station but mark my boarding stn as C.
will I be given reservation quota of B-D or C-D?

As u are booking from station B, u will be given the quota of B station only, even if u had choose to boarding point from C...
that depend on train's distance restriction but if IR issue the ticket from B to D and does not issue ticket from C to D, U can take ticket from B to D with boarding from C...
