Hi,
I have booked 6 seat on 15.2.2011 in cheran express. The seating 3 upper berth and 3 lower berth but only 5 of us are given nearby each other and 1 more seat are 6 berths away. And that particular berth belong to my handicap brother. Can i have it change to a nearby berth?

The berth which is separate belongs to your brother but someone else from your group can go there. So that is not a big deal and people generally co-operate too.

Normally in this train passengers will generally cooperate for exchange of berths. Happy journey
then use private vehicle. if u r cooperative then other co-operative.

If I am in India, Sir... I would definitely go to the counter to book the tickets but i am not. And i don't want to do it late coz thr r 6 tickets to be booked. to be in the waiting list will be a nightmare and what are the chances for anyone of us in nearer berth?
