All the conventional Passenger trains (56861/62/63/64/65, 56041/42) from PDY should be replaced with DEMU trains. Hw many of these train users accept for this conversion of train..??
Also new 2 pairs of DEMU - PDY KPD PDY is much required..

Circar off course isn't a first preferred train from CCT/SLO-Chennai for people who opt for Speed but its being used by many inspite being slow and bit long route even now it goes via NGNT...The Name of the Train comes by it covering all Circar districts as they are referred in the route it covers..About extension PDY you may feel its Unnecessary but many use this very own train from MS/MAS-CCT/COA to go Yanam (I don't know whether you are aware or not which is part of PDY) and this extension is under demand from long and why not if its extended to PDY MS won't get GNWL???Its up to the zone to decide they can easily do it many trains do have such quota allocations.So extension is not impossible/unnecessary but can be worked as feasible.
if every train is to be extended then ppls of puducherry should go out of city and give the land to railways only then SR will enlarge the station and facilitate more trains..
DEMU will be generally alloted to the areas wer electrification proposal will take time and non busy route fro example - to take scr zone they run demu on gadwal- gulbarga, bza - machilipatnam, kcg - mum via nizamabad route and some our south tn routes like manamadurai, karaikal etc. Where in this area it will take some time to make electrification but pdy kpd is not like that its a busy route. so after completing electrification they will introduce MEMU service
