I have booked a ticket from ahmedabad to chennai for the date 18-2-2011.
But, i will be in surat on 17-2-2011 and i dont want to travel back to ahmedabad and board the train, i want to change my boarding station from surat only. So, ill be able to board directly from surat on 18-2-2011 itself.
How's that done???

have to give an request to the station master of the actual boarding station, in my case ahmedabad. . which does not help me at all. . .
So, is it possible i inform the station master in surat itself, before 24 hrs ??
Is that ok ??
Please, guide me!
