It seems we are not getting each other's point.
Take this scenario:
A----B----C
I have a ticket from A to C and reservation from A to B. Can I use the same ticket from B to C or not ? Of coruse I can, I have done it multiple times.

case we are talking about is the opposite. Can we use it from A to B or not.
Your HTE-YPR example. PNR query or Chart will pickup details from boarding point but you have a ticket which has the information of original boarding point.

In your case of A - B - C, you can travel in the same class provided a seat is available. Because as you are not reserved passenger from B onwards, someone else might have bookd the seat from B onwards. You can talk to TTE and get the seat if available. If you dont get a seat, all depends on mutual arrangement. I have seen such passengers traveling by standing at door or requesting others and accomodating themselves.

Both are different things.
Change in boarding after reservation seises power to board from original Boarding point on same ticket in any circumstance(what TTE allows unofficially can not be taken as rule).
Ticket booked from A----to D reservation from B------C or D allows passenger to board from point A depending on the tickets type(whether ticket is booked as SL from A or ME from A to B).
